Using your basket

Using your basket with greenmachinery.co.uk is designed to be as close as possible to how you would use a shopping basket in real life. Here is how it works.

When you are viewing the page of an item you wish to purchase, you will notice a green Buy button. Clicking this button will add the item you are viewing to your basket.

Once you have added one (or more) item(s) to your basket, you will be presented with the View basket screen.

From the View basket screen there are several options available to you. You may:

• Change the quantity of any item in your basket
• Remove any item from your basket
• Clear the basket of all items
• Proceed to the Checkout to purchase the items currently in your basket

Changing the quantity of an item in your basket

To change the order quantity of any item in your basket, simply click in the Qty box next to the item, enter a new quantity, and then click the green Update button (next to Checkout).

The Order value, Delivery cost (if applicable) and Total Order will all be automatically updated to reflect the new quantity you entered.

Note: If the Stock level is circled in red this means it is not possible to order any more than the quantity that you have specified at this time.

Removing an item from your basket

To remove an item from your basket, you can do one of several things:

• If you have more than one of the same item in your basket, you can enter a new (lower) value in the Qty box, then click Update (see above).
• To remove an item from your basket entirely, click in the Remove box to the left of the item (to tick it), and then click Update.
• You can also remove an item from your basket entirely by entering 0 in the Qty box next to the item and then clicking Update.

Clearing your basket of all items

To clear your basket of all items, simply click clear the basket.

Proceeding to the Checkout

When you are happy with the products in your basket, simply click Checkout to proceed to the checkout stage and actually place your order.

Don't worry, your order will not actually be sent to us until you have completed the checkout process, so you still have time to go back and change your order even if you click Checkout before you intended.
