Using the search

If you can't see what you're looking for we'd like to help you find it! Our extensive search system may seem complicated to begin with but once you get used to it you'll find it's actually very simple.

Product categories

If you are searching for a product on the website there are multiple ways of finding it. If you know the general area that a product belongs to, then you can use the categories located on the left and at the top of the page. We have a large index of different categories for all our products and have labelled them nicely to make it easier for you to use. For example if you were looking for an electric chain saw you may go to Forestry > Chain saws. This would give you a list of our top 11 chain saws and chain saw accessories. However if you wanted to see more products within this category you would need to click the View all button and proceed to our product search.

Product search

The search is simple and easy to get used to. To begin with, it requires you to enter a search term or keyword, for example you may be searching for chain saws. Initially this would return you all the products that include the words chain, saw(s), chain saw(s), and chainsaw(s). If you don't immediately find what you are looking for, you have the option to refine your search further.

Upon searching you are given 3 further options to refine your search results. Category, to only select from products belonging to a specific category. Make, to only select from products produced by a certain make/manufacturer. Price, to only select from products that are within a certain price range. These 3 options can be used together, so if you find that your search has returned hundreds of results you should have no problem filtering through them.

Finally if you still don't find what you are looking for or still have too many results to search through you can use the Extended search. This is another box similar to search but allows you to search for specific keywords within your original search.

If after all that searching you still can't find the product that you were looking for you may want to try using a different keyword in your original search. Alternatively we may not actually stock the product. If this is the case then please contact us and we'll try our best to get it for you.
